THE PALLADIUM THEATRE
Asylum's Rendition of Shakespeare Classic Cancelled
Due to the sudden disappearance of The Asylum's directional correspondent, Emma Ristagno, the inmates' production of Shakespeare's tragedy of Macbeth has been postponed indefinitely.  Authorities are investigating Ms. Ristagno's disappearance, and promise to send us any news of her whereabouts, should there be any.  The event was mentioned in Rhetoric Issue #5.

Coming Soon to The Palladium:

What is Henrytown?
Filming has already begun on the first project to emerge from The Asylum's Palladium Theatre in many years.  Dubbed Henrytown, the stop-motion animated musical will feature widely varying sets, a large cast of characters, and an original story.

A carriage draws up to the castle gates in an early shot from Henrytown, produced by Insane Entertainment (Left), and (Right), film crews on location in a German castle prepare to commence shooting a later scene in the Henrytown script.

About the Theater
The Palladium Theatre was built into The Asylum's building at the turn of the century, shortly after the construction of the initial structure.  During the 1930s, the auditorium was converted into a movie theater, where it showed such classics as Gone with the Wind and Casablanca to Washington audiences, before a new administrator scrapped the projector and screen and restored the original stage.
